An update blog is long overdue. In fact, the last update posted here was on the 10th of December — 7 months ago.

I’ll spare you the boring details, but let’s just say life got in the way of development for the last half year. I realize a lot of hardcore players felt the game was abandoned, and moved on. All I can say is — I’m still here.. again.

For the past few weeks I’ve been working on fixing the weather system. The old system made by TheRoam was great, but the code was too complex for my taste and hard to change and integrate.

So I’ve started working on my own weather script using the assets supplied by TheRoam. It’s now fully integrated into my own script, which allows me to use the rain as a gameplay mechanic (rain catchers have been discussed — these are now an option).

I’ll release this update asap, and that if that runs stable, start adding new stuff.
